Bemoaning that uve spent fruitless hours 'orkutin'???, refreshing ur home page every 5 mins to c if u got new scraps, changing ur profile pic everyday hopin sum1 would notice it and shower praises, changing ur profile caption more often than indian petrol hikes.... so that u seem intellect to ur buddies, tryin ur hardest to make ur scrap and friend count seem hefty.... Believe me ur not alone! The notion 'if ur not in orkut u deserve nothin more than a coffin' has long been prevalent and suffers frm the dog's tail syndrome! And firstly y am I wrtin all this... the simple answer is to increase the post count of our blog (similar to increasin scrap count :-)!
K.. jokes apart (pls don tell me i never joked assuming urself to b too smart)... orkut has kept my head occupied of late... My senior in college (Hariharan) asked me for a trivia quiz on fauna after cin the pics of ma pets in the orkut album... I jus said s and this guy immediately started shootin! Was stumped too often, google being the only source of relief each time!
Here i share with u some of the species with which we share the planet! The trivia quiz that has happened so far is here for u:

*Which Central African mammal resembles a bit of zebra but is actually related closer to the giraffe(okapi)

*Which African mammal's urine is so flammable that some tribes use it for lantern fuel (cape buffalo)

*N.America's only marsupial(opossum)

*One of the loudest land animal, S and C. America(Rainforests), Prehensile tail, the only new world monkey in which both males and females have trichromatic vision(howler monkeys)

*Largest small cat(cougar aka puma)

*The biggest lynx(eurasian lynx)

*Largest deer species... 2 common names [american and british](moose, elk resp.)

*Largest cat...[1 of the tiger sub species](siberian tiger)

*This mammal(marsupial) native to oz is also called the banded anteater!(numbat)

*This oz mammal was named after a monster (known as the mother of all monsters) in greek myth!(echidna)

*The cat species known for its characteristic absence of tail!(manx cat)

*This breed of dogs, named after an area near croatia, was initially used to accompany carriages.....(dalmation, named after dalmatia)

*Which central american cat is called manigordo (local name)... has resemblance to a jaguar (ocelot)

So no regrets! M happy orgoodin!
