You must have read about the posts on our final college tour to Edacal caves, Meenmutty falls and Ooty. Those days are still memorable, that i keep looking at the pictures now and then. But i realized that i had left out some good snaps in my posts!! And so i am posting it here!! For people who didnt read those posts, just take a quick look at them here.... And here are the pics!!

Family tree is a popular term in these days and people go mad mad to search their tree. The family tree is identified using genealogy. Find your family tree based on records and database. Late leaders like Indira Gandhi, M.G.Ramachandran and few remarkable persons are still the most respected among the people of India, when it comes to the area of Politics and Nobility. But modern day politicians, except few, are a burden to the people. Neither the ruling party nor the opposition party are perfect, or atleast the least perfect. Sometimes the ruling party, of course, to sustain its popularity has to implement so called people beneficiary plans. The opposing party always mocks down the plan and criticizes them. In the end, the people get affected. The parties in general debate over the ineffective issues and waste people's money. They even waste the valuable columns of the newspapers preventing the valuable news from appearing big too.

The SINGUR issue !!

Here is an incident that happened in recent as a proof to the above said. Singur, a town in West Bengal, does not know what an industrial revolution mean! The renowned TATA motors had surprised the business world with its innovative creation called "NANO". The Chief of the TATA groups, Ratan TATA, had announced the NANO's delivery at Singur. The company had acquired thousands of acres of farming land from around 12000 farmers. The West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, had assisted the company in the land acquisition with a reasonable compensation. Some 3000 farmers had opposed it, and this brought in the villain to the scene- She is the Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee. Eying the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, she lead the agitations against the TATA motors forcing them to stall the project for a while. The Chief Minister, if he had given the reason to settle the issue, would have surely solved the cased. The farmers would have gained more compensation. But the resistive opposing leader, pretending to care for its leaders has paved the way for the TATA's to exit the state. The state suffers a terrible loss now. Why?


The ill fate !!

West bengal is one of the states, where industrial revolution is less recognized. The state needed some investments and industries to be set up for a much need growth of its self! The announcement of the TATA's about the NANO brought in hopes for the land. The industry, if it had succeeded well would definitely lift the state's efficiency and adaptation. But due to the ill fate and the reckless oppositions, the state has lost its golden opportunity, infact its inevitable prosperity.

The TATA's would certainly offer jobs to the Singur residents. In the end, its the people of the town who are benefited! But the opposition has no ears to such reasons that they simply want to be focused. The TATA,s have shifted their base to Gujarat. The farmer's have no manure now!! The oppositions have lead to the downfall of the state's growth rate. What do they have to now answer its people?? Its all upto the Trinamool Congress Leader to reply this.

This is an example of how Indian politicians behave on serious issues. It is in the hands of the people to find the golden goose for the golden egg!!

We had written about difficulties the animals had and have been facing at the Vandalur zoo. The authorities don’t really care about the animals. Here is a news that is an authentication to the above said point. Yesterday (10^th of September), the zoo lost three of its wards (cause they care for them). A female lion, a baby bear which is just 3 months old and a rare and nearly extinct Gharial crocodile died due to some reason. The zoo authorities were not able to speak out the cause and as usual they left words saying that the reason was to be investigated. This incident would surely prove the inability of the zoo to maintain animals. The concerned officials or some organization must come up to put an end to this or at least save the animals kept in captivity. Hope they are cared more from now onwards....

Well, I have been learning to drive a two wheeler for the past two three weeks (though it was very late for my age). I get to drive only for half an hour, sometimes for an hour too!! Now am happy that I have thoroughly learnt to ride a bike, but I got to practice in the traffic. But something pretty interesting has happened and is happening during the course time. I dint get a chance to drive the bike for around 6 times (6 days) and I noticed that it coincided with something else. I go to my uncle's place everyday in the evening (he gives his two wheeler for practicing) by my cycle. I get transformed to a kid whenever I am in my cycle and just love my driving, making curves in the road and cutting other vehicles. So naturally I don’t notice the banners on the roadsides.

But I sometimes see a banner of a beef shop that has the WWE superstar "The Rock" in it. It was only in the third time I realized that I couldn’t get a chance to drive whenever I see that picture of "The Rock". Today I saw that picture again and just slowed my cycle and thought whether I would not get a drive. Alas!! The same happened. My uncle had an important work, so he flew away with the bike and I just spent the time in his house watching an excellent innings from Owais Shah who scored 96 of 102 balls in the county cricket (saw the highlights) .Well, if it was for only one time then it would have been an ordinary miss. But it had happened for six times and am still puzzled about it!! If anyone could figure out the reason, then do tell me!!

Today, the 15^th of August, India celebrates its 61^st year of Independence. We the people of India are very delighted and this is always a special occasion for us, far more important than our festivals and birthdays. India is a diverse country, feeding nearly 1.9 billion people. The Independence Day is the only day where all people come into celebration and demonstrate their love and affection for the country.

Today, the 11 of august, has made India proud at the Olympics. Abinav Bindra, one of the excellent shooters India has ever produced, won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics. The occasion was very eminent. It was thrilling when the National anthem was played with my nation's flag being hoisted. I felt I was witnessing the Independence Day celebration. This is a special occasion for India as it won a gold after 28 years.

It's more distinguished, as it is the First ever Individual Gold a sportsman has ever won representing India. Hats off!! This win has surely created ripples among the youngsters and I am sure India would produce more athletes to hunt more medals in the forthcoming years!!!

This is and will be one of my precious mails. I got it from my friend. Do you know why I say it's precious?? Because it reminds me the incident that happened at Meenmutty falls. I was saved by my friend there. Wondering why I am relating this?? The reason is – "helping hands can sometimes save a life".

And here are the pics I got in that mail. The puppy had slipped into the canal. Two boys are involved in the rescue operation. And see how they make it!! The little puppy seems terrified but relieved. Thanks to those kids for the brave act!!

The canal might be a little deep for that puppy or it may have not. But it would have been difficult for it to overcome the slope made of concrete. It also a bit tough to say about the grip it can have with the concrete. Anyways, it's safe in the end!! Cheers to those boys!! :)

1. What was I doing 10 years ago? (1998)

I was in the 6^th standard. This year was a turn over for me. I met great competition in my studies. I was pushed back in the rankings that year which urged me to involve very well in my study.
I very well remember first beat from my P.T master in my back the same year (with his long cane).

The government of Tamilnadu has imposed a rule over the usage of electricity. According to the rule there will be a pre-told power cut to its state capital, Chennai, for an hour and the other areas of state would suffer a worse duration of 2 hours-daily. This rule will be enforced from Monday onwards (21-July, 2008).

The worst news is that his rule has no borders. The rule stays as long as there is no improvement in supply and demand position. This situation arose due to lack of rains in the surrounding areas including Kerala and Karnataka and consequential low power generation.

Electricity crisis has started showing its head. Its upto the government to solve it and it should be dealt with great care with the future in mind. Bad time for Chenaiites!!!

Mexico city police are investigating classified advertisements posted on the internet by people offering their services as hired killers for as little as $6000!

One post on the website, which hosts free ads for people selling old home appliances or renting apartments, advertises the service of an "ex-military hitman, professional and discrete." The man promises a job guaranteed in 10 days or less" and adds "I have worked in Spain, only serious offers, $6000."

A police spokeswoman said authorities were taking the ads seriously, at a time when Mexican drug cartels and organized crime gangs are going ever more public with their tit-for-tat murders and leaving several bodies and heads in streets! Some 1,700 people have been killed so far this year in attacks between rival cartels and the thousands of soldiers and federal police sent out to crack down on them.

Gangs often use paid assassins using high-caliber weapons for their hits!

Shooting down has become a child's play!!

Almost 70% of the people around the world own a credit card. It has become a part of our life but it is less known that it has been a big headache to the banks. Guess what?? Credit card debts around the world have just gone above 48 lakh crore rupees!!! (US$ 1,121,495,337,600). Britain is the most affected by this and it’s reported that the number of debtors have doubled in the last couple of years. In Britain alone it sums upto 4,48,000 crore rupees (US$ 112,228,193,760). It’s estimated that the debt would rise to 12,80,000 crore rupees (US$ 299,275,183,360 in Britain alone) in two more years. So all banks have started to find a solution for this. They have imposed strict measures and have drafted ways to find customers with proper details and needs. They hope that 40% of the debts can be cleared by this.

Well, the banks are here to help us but people misuse its advantages. In the end it is us who are affected. So lets clear our debts if we have any.
